Yun Qin

Clinical Scientist at Arcensus

Yun Qin has a significant amount of work experience in the field of clinical research and development. They began their career as a Research Assistant at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 2016, where they were responsible for collecting samples, managing patient information, and organizing trainings. They then moved on to Paul Scherrer Institut PSI in 2017, where they served as a PhD associate, managing target discovery and translational research projects, developing a novel drug-screening technology, and supporting patent applications. In this role, they also participated in discussions about launching clinical trials based on their pre-clinical research. From 2021 to 2022, Yun Qin worked as a Clinical Sciences and Innovation Fellow at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), and they are currently employed as a Clinical Scientist at Arcensus.

Yun Qin completed a Doctor of Science degree at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Pharmazeutische Wissenschaften from The University of Freiburg between 2014 and 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Yun Qin obtained the certification in Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in April 2021. They also received the certification in Good Clinical Practice Module 1-3 from Universitätsspital Zürich in March 2021. Finally, in August 2014, Yun Qin obtained a C1 level certification in the Test of German as a foreign language from the TestDaf-Institut.
