Taylor A Murphy

Taylor A Murphy is an accomplished founder and leader in the technology and data engineering sectors, currently serving as Founder & CEO and Founder & CPO at Arch since March 2021. Prior experience includes leading Meltano and functioning as a project maintainer at GitLab from January 2018 to March 2021. Taylor has held various significant roles in data management and engineering at Concert Genetics from September 2013 to January 2018, including Director of Data Operations and Director of Data Procurement. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Deputy Commander for Cadets at the Civil Air Patrol and founding Clockwork Editing, specializing in academic editing. Taylor earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and has a strong foundation in engineering principles from earlier education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Chattanooga State Technical Community College.
