Janice Englesbe

Janice Englesbe is the current Chief Risk Officer at Arch Capital Group. Prior to this, they were the Principal at Englesbe Consulting LLC from January 2017 to February 2019. Her focus is on helping property/casualty insurance companies strengthen their enterprise risk management by systematically identifying, assessing and prioritizing risks.

Janice has over 25 years of experience in property/casualty reinsurance, 15 of which in enterprise risk management. Janice has also served as a Board Member for General Reinsurance Australia, Ltd. from January 2017 to December 2017, and as a Member of Management Board for General Reinsurance AG from January 2015 to December 2017.

Janice Englesbe received their BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance and Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Janice then went on to receive their certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
