Tracie Cranford

Tracie Cranford is currently the Chief Operating Officer, Finance at Arch Capital Group. Tracie has held this position since July of 2022. Prior to their current role, Ms. Cranford served as the Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasurer at Arch Mortgage Insurance Company from January of 2017 to July of 2022. Before their time at Arch MI, Ms. Cranford was the Senior Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at United Guaranty Corporation from April of 2013 to December of 2016. In this role, they lead the team responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis for AIG’s Mortgage Guaranty segment. Tracie also implemented an expense forecasting process to identify temporary versus permanent variances and improve discussions with business units regarding expense control.

Ms. Cranford began their career in September of 2005 as the Vice President, Assistant Controller at Lincoln Financial Group where they stayed until April of 2013 when they took their role at United Guaranty Corporation.

Throughout their career, Ms. Cranford has made significant contributions to their company and community. Tracie was nominated for the 2015 AIG Women of the Year Awards and serves as the Sponsor of the UG Women’s ERG and member of the UG Culture Working Group.

Tracie Cranford has a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Tracie is certified by the Mortgage Bankers Association as an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and by the AICPA as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Tracie is also certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

They work with Christine Todd - Chief Investment Officer, Kai Monahan - Chief Audit Executive, and Jay Rajendra - Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer. Tracie Cranford reports to Marc Grandisson, Chief Executive Officer.
