Ken Mears

Ken Mears is an experienced freelance photographer and picture editor with a career spanning several decades. Since June 2019, Ken has operated as a freelance photographer under "Photography by Ken Mears." Ken also serves as a photographer and picture editor for Archant, focusing on projects in London and Kent. Previous roles include picture editor at the East London and West Essex Guardian from 2011 to 2014 and chief photographer at Newsquest North and East London from 2004 to 2011. Ken has specialized in press, documentary, events, and public relations photography since beginning freelance work in 2014. Education includes an Associate Diploma in Art from the North Adelaide School of Art, obtained between 1986 and 1998.
