Vivienne Sclater has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Vivienne began their career as an intern at the US Army Corps of Engineers in 2008. Vivienne then worked as an instructor at Carolina Ocean Studies in 2009. In 2010, they interned at The Nature Conservancy and also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In 2012, they joined Waterborne Environmental Inc. as a GIS Specialist and Environmental Scientist. Currently, they are working at Archbold Biological Station, where they started as a GIS and Data Manager in 2015 and later became the Director of Data and Technology in July 2021.
Vivienne Sclater started their education journey at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Mathematics. Vivienne successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2008. Later on, in 2010, Vivienne returned to the same institution to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Studies, Conservation Policy, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Vivienne'spostgraduate studies were completed in 2011.
