Senior Director Of Guest Experience at Archcare

Alla Borsen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient and guest experience roles. Alla started their career as a Patient Representative at BETH ISRAEL MEDICAL CENTER, where they later became the Patient Representative Coordinator. Alla then moved on to Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center, serving as the Manager of Patient Relations and Language Services before becoming the Administrative Director of Patient Relations and Language Services. During their time at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, they held the position of Director of Patient Relations, Guest Services, Pastoral Care, Language & Volunteer Services. Following that, they worked at Palisades Medical Center as the Director of Patient Experience and Patient Experience Officer. Alla then joined Kindred Healthcare as a Patient Experience Advocate, where they conducted daily rounds on patients, resolved issues, and provided coaching on communication skills and service recovery. Subsequently, they took on roles at ArchCare at Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center and ArchCare, where they served as the Director and Senior Director of Guest Experience, respectively. In these roles, they provided strategic leadership and operational oversight to create great guest experiences and worked collaboratively with guest experience leaders/ambassadors from all ArchCare programs to develop and implement Guest Experience plans.

Alla Borsen has a diverse education history. In 2002-2003, they obtained a certificate in Medical Interpreting and Training from New York Medicine Jobs. Later on, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Library Science and a Master of Library Science degree from Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts. Additionally, in 2016, they completed a Leadership Development program at Rutgers University/ArchCare, earning a Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt. Alla then obtained a Certificate in Patient Experience Leadership in 2017-2018 from The Beryl Institute, where their field of study was focused on Patient Experience.
