Kara Taylor Jacobs

Kara Taylor Jacobs is an experienced educator currently serving as a Pre-K Teacher at the Archdiocese of Baltimore since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jacobs taught Kindergarten at Howard County Public Schools from August 2021 to June 2022 and worked at Montgomery County Public Schools in various capacities, including Summer School Secretary and Classroom Monitor from April to July 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Pre-K Teacher at Leap N Learn Child Care from July 2020 to March 2021 and as a Recreation Supervisor at Michael P. O'Brien Athletic and Recreation Center from August 2019 to May 2020, where Jacobs also held the position of Front Desk Staff earlier that year. Jacobs began a career in public service as a Lifeguard at The Y in Central Maryland from June 2016 to March 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, earned between 2017 and 2020, and a High School Diploma from Centennial High School.
