Mary Jo Gillis

Mary Jo Gillis has extensive experience in the accounting and finance sector, currently serving as Sr. Controller at the Archdiocese of Seattle since May 2011, where roles have included Controller and Assistant Controller, focusing on GL, Payroll, and systems, as well as overseeing the Office of Youth and Young Adult Evangelization. Prior experience includes a position as Accounting & Budgeting Manager at The Seattle Times from May 1995 to May 2011 and Sr. Auditor at Kueckelhan, Crutcher and Company from 1991 to 1995. Mary Jo Gillis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairfield University, obtained between 1980 and 1982, and has furthered education at the UW Foster School of Business from 1990 to 1991.
