Jennifer Sargent

Jennifer S. is an experienced archivist and records manager currently serving the Archdiocese of Vancouver since April 2014. In this role, Jennifer S. oversees the accessioning, arrangement, and description of various record types, responds to research requests, and undertakes conservation efforts. Previous positions include Records Manager at the Canadian Sport Institute, where Jennifer S. developed an e-file management plan, and contract librarian roles at CLUSTER and CIC, where Jennifer S. was instrumental in establishing new libraries and cataloging systems. In earlier experiences, Jennifer S. worked as an archivist for the City of Edmonton, cataloging archival materials and supervising staff, and as a library assistant at Edmonton Public Library. Education includes a Master of Library and Information Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, both from the University of Alberta.
