Brian S. McGowan, PhD, FACEHP has held a variety of roles in the healthcare field since 2008. In 2008, they were the Executive Director of The FCG Institute for Continuing Education and the Director and Senior Director of Medical Education Group and IME, respectively, at Pfizer, Inc. In 2010, they were the Chairperson of the Emerging Technologies Committee at the Alliance for CME, a Consult Columnist at Medical Meetings Magazine, an Author - Consultant - Advocate at #socialQI: Simple Solutions for Improving Your Healthcare, and a Pickleball Champion at Courts near you. In 2012, they became the Chief Learning Officer & Co-Founder of ArcheMedX, Inc. In 2014, they became the Group Manager of the CME Group on LinkedIn. In 2018, they became a Steering Team Member of the Outcomes Standardization Project. In 2020, they became a Volunteer Host of the Alliance Podcast at the Alliance For Continuing Education in the Health Professions.

Brian S. McGowan, PhD, FACEHP received their Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Physiology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania between 1992 and 1997. Brian S. then earned their PhD in Physiology/Cardiology from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine between 1997 and 2001. In 2020, they were awarded the Author of the Year - ACEHP by the Alliance For Continuing Education in the Health Professions. In 2017, they were awarded the Training Industry Readership Award by Training Industry, Inc.
