Joel Selzer

Joel Selzer has a diverse professional background, having held various positions in the technology and healthcare industries since 1997. Their career began at American Management Systems as a Consultant, followed by Engagement Manager at IBM Global Services from 2001-2004. In 2004, they joined Updata Venture Partners as an Associate, then Co-Founded Medical Funding Services in 2005 and served as Co-Founder and CEO of Ozmosis, Inc. from 2008-2013. In 2011, they became a Mentor for Healthbox Accelerator and a Founding Board Member for FounderCorps. In 2014, they joined the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) as a Member Board of Directors, and in 2013 they became Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of ArcheMedX, Inc.

Joel Selzer obtained their MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2005, with a focus on General Management & Entrepreneurship. Joel also holds a BA in International Relations from Georgetown University, which they earned in 1997. Prior to that, Joel attended Saint Andrew's School from 1989 to 1993.
