Katie Benjamin Steed

Katie Benjamin Steed has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katie has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in art direction, photography, graphic design, and advertising.

Katie began their career as a Creative Intern at Combustion Design & Advertising, where they created print material for Memphis College of Art and worked on projects for Shelby Farms.

Katie later joined Auto-Chlor System as a Graphic Designer, where they contributed to the production of marketing materials and website reconstruction. This position was a temporary assignment facilitated by Randstad.

Katie also served as an Advertising Art Director at Contemporary Media, where they showed their skills in creating impactful advertising campaigns.

In 2016, they became an Adjunct Faculty member at Memphis College of Art, specializing in teaching art-related courses.

In 2007, Katie founded their own company, Katie B. Steed, where they offered their services as an Art Director and Photographer.

Katie was one of the founding members of Due South Co-op in 2018, a collaborative venture where they played a pivotal role.

Their most recent role is at Archer, where they started as an Art Director and gradually progressed to Senior Art Director and Associate Creative Director/Art Director. Katie's extensive experience, coupled with their creativity and expertise, make their a valuable asset to any organization.

Katie Benjamin Steed obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Memphis College of Art from 2006 to 2009. During their time at the college, they studied Graphic Design and Art History.
