Ana Maria Silva Marques

Ana Maria Silva Marques holds extensive experience in quality control and food safety management within the agricultural sector. Currently serving as the Regional Quality and Food Safety Manager for Oilseeds LATAM at Archer Daniels Midland Company since March 2019, Ana has also been an Independent Consultant since September 2017. Previously, Ana managed a team of approximately 60 people at Cargill Agrícola S/A, overseeing product safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance across six factories. Ana's expertise includes implementing quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2000, GMP B2, FSSC 22000, and ISO 17025. Additionally, Ana coordinated the postgraduate course in Biotechnology and Food Quality at União Educacional Minas Gerais (UNIMINAS) from 2007 to 2010. Ana holds a licentiate degree in Biology Technician/Biotechnology Laboratory Technician and a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology and Food Quality from UNIMINAS.
