David Wendt

David Wendt serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Village of Forsyth since May 2013, with subsequent re-elections in 2017 and 2021, and was appointed Mayor Pro Tempore in May 2021. Wendt also holds the position of Director of Commodity Risk Management & Governance at Archer Daniels Midland Company since August 1994, focusing on compliance and governance related to global commodity hedging. Prior experience includes serving as a Sergeant in the Illinois Army National Guard, where noteworthy achievements included the Army Service Ribbon and the National Defense Service Medal, as well as working as an Accounting Supervisor at American Drug Stores. Wendt is an alumnus of Illinois State University.
