Matt Hickey

Matt Hickey is a systems administrator at Archer Education. Matt previously worked for Rent.com from January 2003 to June 2015, where they were the system administrator and IT manager. In their role at Rent.com, they were responsible for deploying, managing and supporting all Windows, Apple and Linux desktop and laptop computers. Matt also created professional technical documentation for company wide distribution. Additionally, they repaired and maintained all Windows, Macintosh, desktop and laptop hardware.

Matt also created and maintained Microsoft Deployment Toolkit server for imaging and deployment of Windows computers as well as a DeployStudio Mac mini server for deploying complete images to all Macintosh models. Furthermore, they installed, configured and maintained Atlassian’s Jira project management and Confluence wiki software in a CentOS Linux environment. Lastly, they were responsible for purchasing all technical equipment and maintaining relations with vendors.

Matt Hickey attended Bellevue College.
