Michael Pace is an experienced hospitality professional with a robust track record in various leadership roles across renowned hotel chains. Since September 2025, Michael has served as the General Manager at Archer Hotel. Prior to this, Michael managed the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco from November 2018 to August 2025 and oversaw the CLIFT Hotel during its transition from Morgans Hotel Group to SBE and then to Sonesta from November 2014 to November 2018. Additional experience includes managing Hotel Adagio as part of Evolution Hospitality, leading the W Hotel San Francisco where recognition included the “Outstanding GM of the Year” award from the California Hotel & Lodging Association, and holding multiple leadership roles at Kimpton Hotels. Michael also has a strong foundation in management from earlier convention services roles at InterContinental Hotels Group and various positions in Europe. Michael holds a degree from Bournemouth University and completed secondary education at De La Salle College in Malta.
