Johnny Melack

Johnny Melack has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Johnny recently worked as the Director of Engineering at Archer starting in January 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Wisk from July 2019 to January 2020. From 2014 to 2019, Johnny was the Director of Engineering at Kitty Hawk, where they also served as the Lead Engineer in the Battery Systems Group and held senior and mechanical engineer roles. Before that, they worked as a Program Manager and Project Engineer at SiGNa Chemistry Inc. and founded their own company, 501 Engineering, in 2007.

Johnny Melack has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Johnny also holds a minor in Film Studies from the same institution.
