Elizabeth Knight

Elizabeth Knight has been a project manager for over 7 years, with experience in both the public and private sector. Elizabeth began their career as a structural engineer, working for Westinghouse Electric Company. While there, they received certification to investigate the causes of higher level issues in the Corrective Action Process. Elizabeth also authored/coauthored 2 calculation notes qualifying steel connection design. In 2015, they left Westinghouse to become an area manager at HDR INC. There, they implemented a system to forecast and track thousands of deliverables. Elizabeth also coordinated between design squads and permitting team to prepare and address comments on 570 individual bridges including daily calls with subcontractors. In 2017, they left HDR INC to become a project manager at NexTec Group. Elizabeth reported current status of all bridges environmental permitting deliverables to management and clients in both weekly emailed reports and biweekly calls. Elizabeth is currently a project manager at ArcherPoint.

Elizabeth Knight's educational career consists of a BS in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a degree in Civil Engineering from the same school.
