Archers’ is a family owned company that has been trading for over 100 years from its base in Ballina, County Mayo. Traditionally, a Builders Merchant, Archers has over the years diversified in to areas of manufacturing such as Roof Truss and Timber Frame House design, supply & fit. Never afraid of a challenge and always an eye on the future. Over the last 25 years, Archers further diversified their offering to include a much more Retail focus targeting categories such as Home & Garden Goods and Electrical appliances with the stated goal of attracting business from a wider section of the community. 
In this time, a broad-based management team has been developed to focus on specific areas of the business and likely future trends. This team is largely made up of forward-thinking senior managers who have a wealth of experience in the industry and within Archers itself. Archers is now arguably the largest independently owned business of its kind in Connaught. Employing 75 people in our two outlets in Ballina & Castlebar, County Mayo.
In an industry where advice is an essential companion to a majority of the products sold, Archers reputation for knowledgeable staff, together with the breadth of product offered has established them as an essential partner in so many self-build projects in the North West. In addition to the customer base of building & plumbing contractors, and also the large number of farmers who use Archers as their supplier of choice, Archers has constantly evolved to keep pace with the newest technologies & product developments available in the Irish market.
