Rossana Simone (She/Her)

Rossana Simone is the Co-founder and Treasurer of ARCHES, where she ensures sound financial management, organisational transparency, and long-term sustainability. An architect by training, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the organisation, combining structural thinking with a deep commitment to social responsibility.

Alongside her role in financial governance, Rossana is also a dedicated teacher specialising in support and inclusion in high schools. Her hands-on experience working with diverse learners strengthens her leadership of the Inclusive Education and Gender Equality Strategy Team, which drives ARCHES’ efforts to embed equality, diversity, and inclusive practices across all Horizon Europe activities.

She oversees the implementation of the ARCHES Gender Equality Plan and ensures alignment with EU standards while actively contributing to proposal development and project design, including the recent ARTEMIS and EQUITY-RISE submissions. Through her integrated expertise in architecture, education, and inclusive strategy, Rossana reinforces ARCHES’ mission to promote fair, accessible, and responsible research and innovation across Europe.
