Katherine Wu

Katherine Wu is a Venture Partner at Archetype. Most recently, Katherine was the Senior Lead on the Coinbase Ventures team, where she led investments on behalf of Coinbase and scaled the investment team. During her tenure at Coinbase, Katherine oversaw a record-breaking year in deal-making, putting Coinbase Ventures among the most active corporate venture funds in operation. Katherine joined the Coinbase Ventures team from Notation Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on software investments. Prior to Notation, Katherine was the first business hire at Messari, a leading provider of crypto market intelligence products.

Over the years, Katherine has also advised and worked with a number of top tier crypto protocols and companies (Solana Ventures, Ethereum Foundation, Balancer Labs) on issues spanning from investment strategies to go-to-market and other operational processes.
