Jordan Thornton

Jordan Thornton, MSMI, is an experienced professional in the art and medical illustration fields, currently serving as the Events and Exhibitions Assistant Manager at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts since March 2024. With a dual role as a Printmaker and Illustrator for Young & Green Art since November 2013, Jordan has also held positions such as Associate Medical Illustrator at Osso VR and Arts Specialist at Sanford Health. Previous experience includes graduate studies at Augusta University, Artist in Residence with the South Dakota Arts Council, and teaching art classes at the Washington Pavilion. Jordan holds a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from Augusta University and two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from Montana State University-Bozeman.

Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts

The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts was founded in 1951 and is a public, nonprofit, educational institution dedicated to the enrichment of the ceramic arts offering residencies, classes, and workshops to artists from around world. Throughout the year 10-20 artists come to the Bray to work in a informal communal studio setting sharing experiences and knowledge.
