Jamie Rotante has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They started their career in 2004 as an Office Secretary at Local 812 Teamsters Union, where they handled tasks such as scanning, copying, faxing, and data entry. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Receptionist at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College, where they answered phones, took messages, and greeted visitors. In 2009, they worked as a Content Writer for Purple Herring Online, writing scenarios for an online game. In 2011, they joined Archie Comic Publications, Inc. as an Editorial Assistant / Proofreader, where they proofread comic books, scheduled ads, and occasionally wrote feature pieces. Over time, they progressed to become an Editor and later the Senior Director of Editorial, responsible for overseeing all single-issue titles, managing budgets and invoices, working with talent and editorial, and ensuring quality content.

Jamie Rotante completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the State University of New York at Purchase, attending from 2006 to 2010. Before that, Jamie attended Maria Regina High School and obtained a Regents Diploma in 2006. Additionally, Jamie has obtained various certifications including "Writing: The Craft of Story" from LinkedIn in May 2022, "Supervising Others" from Alison - Empower Yourself in March 2022, and "Introduction to Project Management" from Alison in October 2020. In May 2017, Jamie obtained certifications in "Being A Good Mentor," "Leading with Emotional Intelligence," "Mentoring Others," and "Writing Proposals" from Lynda.com. Furthermore, Jamie completed the "Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Elementary (Estimated)" certification twice in January 2017, from Duolingo.
