Sjef Tijssen

Sjef Tijssen has had a diverse work experience. In 2011, they were an Intern at KPMG Nederland. In 2012, they were a Staff B at Burr Pilger Mayer. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at SD Mayer & Associates LLP, starting as an Assurance Staff and eventually becoming CFO. In 2017, they joined Archilogic, where they held the roles of SVP Operations, VP Operations, Chairman of the Board, COO/CFO, and Finance and Accounting Specialist. In 2021, they became Co-Founder | COO & CFO at Freda Health, where they are responsible for building the company on a foundation of scientific evidence.

Sjef Tijssen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Auditing and Accounting from Tilburg University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Business from Tilburg University between 2007 and 2010. In 2009, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu. In 2015, they obtained a FINOP (Series 27 Licensed) from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and a CPA from the California Board of Accountancy.
