Jawed Zia

Jawed Zia is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Operating Partner at ARCHIMED since February 2024. Previously, Zia held the position of CEO at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited from May 2022 to January 2024, and served as Vice Chairman at Rivaara Labs from December 2020 to May 2022. Notably, Zia was Vice President of Established Pharmaceuticals at Abbott from June 2018 to December 2020 and held key leadership roles at Novartis, including Country President for India from June 2014 to May 2018. Zia began a career at Ciba-Geigy, gaining expertise that encompassed various managerial roles in marketing and operations across multiple regions and countries. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin.
