Kees Bogaards is currently an Informaticaleraar at Staring College since February 2024, delivering computer science lessons to HAVO and VWO students. From August 1999 to 2023, Kees worked as a freelance IT consultant, focusing on IT architecture development and project management, including contributions to the P2000 project for emergency services. Kees held the position of treasurer for the Genootschap voor Informatie Architectuur from 2011 to 2012 and served as an IT consultant at CMG from April 1996 to August 1999, specializing in infrastructure development. As the owner-director of SOMS from April 1990 to April 1996, Kees led an innovative engineering firm in the architecture of data communication systems, managing successful projects for organizations like the European Space Agency. Kees holds a PhD in Tele-Informatics from the University of Twente and multiple degrees in Applied Mathematics and related fields from Delft University of Technology.
