Anycie Barakat

Anycie Barakat has worked in various roles in the architecture and design fields since 2013. Anycie began their career as an Administrative Assistant at the Centre for Contemporary Design Practices (CCDP) in 2013. That same year, they also worked as a Peer Tutor at UTS: University of Technology, Sydney and as an Architectural Assistant at Daryl Jackson Robin Dyke Architects (DJRD). In 2015, they joined Archistar.ai as Head of Generative Design, Technical Lead, Government, and Computational Design Lead. In this role, they were responsible for converting building designs into programming code, contributing to the front and back end programming of the website, and producing over 15 courses for the Archistar Academy platform. In 2018, they took on a role as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Newcastle.

Anycie Barakat completed a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney in 2014. Anycie then went on to receive a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from the same institution in 2016. In 2020, they obtained the 500 Women in Property Participant certification from the Property Council of Australia. In 2022, they obtained the Women Rising Program certification from Women Rising.
