Sydney (O'Brien) Matulewicz, DPT, LAT, ATC has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of physical therapy and athletic training. Sydney started their career in 2015 as a First Responder at East Carolina University and later gained experience in various clinical rotations and settings. Sydney served as a Student Physical Therapist at High Point University from 2017 to 2020, where they worked in acute care, orthopedics and sports medicine clinics, a pro bono clinic, and an outpatient orthopedic setting. Additionally, they provided part-time care for a child with special needs as a Care Taker at GT Independence.

In 2019, Sydney completed a Long Term Clinical Rotation in Orthopedic Outpatient at Orthopedic Physical Therapy Associates, where they treated a variety of orthopedic conditions and gained experience in evaluating and treating vestibular pathologies. Sydney also completed a Long Term Clinical Rotation in Sports Physical Therapy at ARCHITECH SPORTS & PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC., where they treated sport-related injuries, post-surgical cases, and chronic pain.

Sydney's most recent role is at Architech Sports and Physical Therapy, where they currently serve as the VP of Player Development, responsible for hiring, on-boarding, mentoring, and PT development. Sydney is also a Clinic Director and a Physical Therapist at the same company.

Following their undergraduate studies, Sydney then attended High Point University from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
