Thom Powell serves as the Southwest Regional Director at Architects Design Group since March 2018. In addition, Powell has held numerous leadership roles, including Chair of the USGBC Texas Board in 2020 and Executive Trustee for the Texas Architects Committee since January 2016. Board membership has also been maintained at the Dallas Center for Architecture and formerly at the USGBC North Texas Chapter, where Powell served as Chair in 2014. Previous experiences include positions at Good Fulton & Farrell as Associate/Director of Sustainable Design and Principal at Gang of Four Design. Thom Powell's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University - School of Architecture in Florence, Italy.
