Clifford Pearson

Clifford Pearson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in architecture and academia. Currently serving as the Director of the American Academy in China at the University of Southern California since January 2016, Pearson has also been an influential Contributing Editor and Deputy Editor at Architectural Record since June 1989. Additionally, from February 2019 to December 2020, Pearson held the position of Editorial Director at Kohn Pedersen Fox, where responsibilities included overseeing publications and shaping narratives about the firm's projects and personnel. Pearson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from Cornell University, obtained between 1974 and 1978.
