Isidro Cobo

Isidro Cobo currently serves as the Head of R&D of Optical Brighteners and Dyes at Archroma, where responsibilities include leading projects from concept to market in the Graphic Paper and Packaging Industries and managing a team of R&D chemists. Prior to this role, Isidro held the position of R&D/BD Manager at Bostik-Afinitica, overseeing new product development in cyanoacrylate monomers and innovative production techniques. Isidro's experience also includes positions as Innovation Project Manager and Scientific Associate at Henkel, where Isidro led and managed various innovation projects and developed new adhesive formulations. Academic contributions include a postdoctoral research position at the University of Sydney and work at Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the University of Oxford, with extensive research on polymeric architectures and organic synthesis. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry, a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Technology, and an Advanced Diploma in Project Management, complemented by master's level education in Catalysis and a BSc in Chemistry.
