Gaia Pietravalle

Gaia Pietravalle is a seasoned legal practitioner and project officer specializing in Migration, Asylum, and Human Rights at Arci - Associazione Ricreativa e Culturale Italiana since October 2013. With a comprehensive background in legal consulting, Gaia provides support to migrants in various aspects, including health, welfare, and employment. Previous roles include serving as a social worker for asylum seekers and trafficking survivors at Comune di Ravenna and as an employment counsellor at Centro per l'Impiego di Ravenna. Gaia has an extensive educational background, holding a Master Degree in International Development Cooperation and Human Rights from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, alongside advanced training in legal advisory and project management. Gaia's commitment to combating discrimination is evident through participation in numerous workshops and projects focused on migration and anti-racism.
