Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is an experienced professional in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, currently serving as the Process Safety Engineering Manager and Corporate EHS Manager at Arclin since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held multiple positions at Huntsman Corporation from October 2017 to October 2022, including Environment, Health and Safety Manager and Global EHS Business Partner for Elastomers, focusing on embedding a Zero Harm culture. Michael's earlier experience includes leading EHS programs at PPG Industries between July 2008 and October 2017, where responsibilities ranged from managing environmental processes and maintaining ISO 14001 certification to overseeing production goals in the Automotive Refinish Paint Plant. Michael holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and an Associate degree in Applied Sciences from Western Nebraska Community College.
