Samantha Sommer, Ph.D., currently serves as the Product Development and Applications Manager for PLW/OSB Overlay Resins at Arclin since June 2015, having previously held the role of Product Development Chemist within the same company. Prior to their tenure at Arclin, Samantha was a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Oregon from July 2010 to June 2015, where notable achievements include the development of novel hybrid metal-ligand hydrogen-bonded supramolecular architectures and mentorship of undergraduate researchers. Additionally, Samantha participated as an NSF Graduate STEM Fellow in K-12 Education from 2013 to 2015 and held the position of Public Relations Director for Women in Graduate Sciences at the University of Oregon from September 2012 to September 2013. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Western Washington University.
