Franklin I. Uba, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Innovation Excellence at Arconic, focusing on product and process technology management and strategic innovation. Prior to this role, Franklin spent eight years at Phillips 66 in various director positions, leading teams in analytical support, separation technologies, and material characterization, where strategic planning, innovation, and advanced technologies were emphasized. Franklin's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University, alongside extensive research experience across multiple institutions including Louisiana State University and Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology. Additionally, Franklin has contributed to teaching and mentoring in chemistry at the undergraduate level and has hands-on experience in laboratory settings.
