Maxim Khvalibov

Maxim Khvalibov has extensive work experience in the field of taxation. Maxim began their career in 1998 as the Head of a tax audit group at the Federal Tax Service, where they supervised a team and controlled VAT refunds for major taxpayers. Maxim then worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at KPMG, providing consulting services on Russian and international tax issues. After that, they joined Deloitte & Touche RCS as a Tax Manager, where they managed multiple tax projects, conducted tax audits, and designed FIN48 papers. Following their time at Deloitte, Maxim served as a Tax Manager at Reliance Inc., where they set up tax and accounting groups, established an effective tax structure, and defended the company against tax criminal liabilities. Most recently, Maxim worked as a Tax Director at Arconic, where they supervised tax groups in multiple locations, developed tax strategies, implemented electronic tax document exchange, and designed transfer pricing procedures. Throughout their career, Maxim has achieved various accomplishments such as receiving recognition as the best in-house tax team in Europe and recovering significant sums of overpaid taxes.

Maxim Khvalibov obtained a Magister of Finance degree from the State University of Management (SUM) between 1993 and 1998. Maxim also holds an ACCA certification, but no further information is available.
