As a Senior Leader at Arconic since November 2016, Steve specializes in physical thermal mechanical simulation of aluminum, titanium, and superalloys, focusing on innovative testing methods for warm and hot forming processes. Prior to this role, Steve spent over two decades at Alcoa, advancing from Staff Engineer to Senior Staff Engineer, where responsibilities included modernizing the formability laboratory and implementing digital image correlation technology. Steve's engineering career began at General Motors, where early work involved automatic transmission simulations and vehicle testing. Steve holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained between 1986 and 1995.
