Prior to Arcor, Israel held the position of Coordenador de Qualidade at Cadbury Adams from 2003 to 2006. Israel’s academic qualifications include a Master's degree from Zentralfachschule der Deutschen Süßwarenwirtschaft, an MBA in Gestão Empresarial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Postgraduate degree in Engenharia de Produção from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, a Postgraduate degree in Engenharia de Qualidade from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and a degree in Engenharia Industrial Química from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.

The year 1981 marks the beginning of the history of the Arcor Group in Brazil, with the acquisition of Nechar Alimentos Ltda, a small candy factory in the interior of São Paulo. With just 60 employees and three production lines, Arcor laid its foundations in the candy market and continued to grow, offering quality products at a fair price.
