Dainae Prejean

Dainae Prejean has a wealth of experience in environmental management and compliance. Dainae currently works as an Environmental Manager for Arcosa Lightweight since August 2022. Prior to that, they held a similar role at WestRock Company from September 2021 to February 2023.

Dainae also has extensive experience running their own consulting firm, Prejean's Environmental Compliance Consulting Services, where they served as the Principal Engineer from August 2005 to April 2022. Dainae provided expertise in environmental compliance and consulting services during this time.

Before starting their own firm, Dainae worked as an Environmental Manager for Georgia-Pacific LLC from February 2019 to May 2021 and as an Environmental Engineer for International Paper from August 2016 to February 2019.

Dainae'scareer began in 1994 as a Secondary Science Teacher for Lafayette parish school board, where they taught until December 1996. Dainae then worked as an Environmental Compliance Specialist for Lafayette Utilities System from January 1996 to August 2008. Following that, they served as the Utility Director for the City of Franklin, LA from 2010 to 2014.

Through their various roles, Dainae Prejean has gained deep knowledge and expertise in environmental management, compliance, and consulting.

Dainae Prejean pursued their education with a strong focus on science and engineering. From 1989 to 2006, they attended Xavier University of Louisiana and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, Dainae Prejean entered the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently working towards completing their Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering, which they started in 2005 and is expected to finish in 2023.
