Matthew Bechdel

Matthew Bechdel has worked in various roles in different companies. Matthew started their career as a Summer Intern at Alliance Resource Partners, LP in May 2017. In December 2017, they interned again at the same company. From May 2018 to August 2019, they worked as an Operation Engineer Trainee/Foreman at Murray Energy Corporation. Matthew then joined Martin Marietta in August 2019 as a Management Associate, and worked there until January 2021. Currently, they are working at Arcosa Inc. as an Assistant Plant Manager, a role they started in March 2021.

Matthew Bechdel earned their Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Penn State University, where they attended from 2014 to 2018. Matthew later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, attending from 2022 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Matthew has also acquired certifications including the Safety Culture Excellence Workshop Train-the-Trainer from Caterpillar Inc. in June 2022, and the Mine Foreman (Underground) certification from WV Miners Health Safety & Trng in May 2019.
