Inspired by ’the why’, Dominique Showers has built her career on thinking big, advocating for the end user, and pushing to propel the business vision.
In the role of VP Recommerce, Dominique works to position Arc’teryx as a leader in women’s performance products. Focussing on thoughtful product design, development of a strong and balanced internal culture and creating tailored brand experiences for women through Arc’teryx Trips and Academies.
As Veilance General Manager, Dominique is passionate about technological innovation and attention to detail. Working alongside a highly talented team, she seeks to propel the brand’s potential, build on its loyalist following, and ensure smart expansion across all channels. Her day-to-day is spent overseeing all aspects of Veilance, including business strategy and leading the team in realizing their collective vision.
Before joining Arc’teryx, Dominique served as Global Marketing Director and USA Sales Director for Native Shoes, after rising to leadership roles at companies including Aritzia. She also brings a strong entrepreneurial background to Arc’teryx, with a deep knowledge of building high-performing teams in culturally relevant brands, rooted in authenticity and integrity. She has founded companies including apparel and footwear retail stores, a branding agency, and the popular athletic brand STR/KE MVMNT, where she led all aspects of business, finance, operations, e-commerce development, retail, and business development.
A Vancouver local raised in Europe, Dominique received her BA, History from McGill University. She holds a Spanish passport and speaks French and Spanish.
