Lisa Ramirez has over 15 years of experience in human resources and people and culture roles. Lisa is currently serving as the Senior Director, People & Culture Business Partnerships at Arc'teryx Equipment since September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of People and Culture at Patagonia from September 2021 to September 2022. Lisa also worked at Amazon as a Senior Regional Human Resources Manager from January 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Amazon, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at Pearson VUE from October 2011 to December 2019. Lisa's career started at Lowe's Companies, Inc. where they served as an Area Human Resources Manager from January 2006 to December 2011.

Lisa Ramirez MA, MS has a strong educational background in organizational leadership and management. In 2004, they completed their Associates degree in Liberal Studies from American River College. Lisa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from California State University-Sacramento, which they obtained in 2008.

Lisa furthered their education by earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Human Resource Management from National University in 2010. Lisa obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Organization Leadership and Development from the same institution in 2015.

To enhance their expertise, Lisa also obtained various certifications. In 2010, they received an Interviewing Certification-Title VII Infractions from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, INC. In 2011, they acquired an Advanced Interviewing Certificate-Title VII Infractions, as well as certifications in the Building Trust Model-Trainer and Situational Leadership II Model-Trainer from The Ken Blanchard Companies. In 2013, they obtained a Change Management-ADKAR model certification from Prosci.

Currently, Lisa is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of Arizona, which they expect to complete in 2023.
