Oliver Henkel

Oliver Henkel has extensive experience in quality management and compliance roles within the outdoor sports equipment industry. Oliver is currently serving as the Director of Quality & Compliance at Arc'teryx Equipment since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of Quality and Compliance at the same company from January 2016 to April 2022.

Before joining Arc'teryx, Oliver held several senior positions at MAMMUT Sports Group AG. From January 2011 to February 2015, they served as the Head of Quality Management & In-house Production, where they developed and implemented a new quality strategy throughout the organization and supply chain. Oliver was responsible for the quality management teams in Germany and the Far East.

From July 2005 to December 2010, Oliver served as the Head of Production & Rope Development at MAMMUT. During this time, they achieved significant cost efficiency through automation projects and lean management tools. Oliver managed four departments, including rope production.

Oliver's career at MAMMUT began in January 2000, when they worked as the Head of Rope Development & Testing until June 2005.

Prior to their time at MAMMUT, Oliver worked at EDELRID GmbH & Co. KG as the Quality and R&D Manager from April 1996 to December 1999.

Oliver Henkel completed their Abitur (university-entrance diploma) at Jakob Grimm Schule Kassel from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering & Quality Management at Technische Universität Clausthal from 1990 to 1996, earning a Dipl. Ing. TU degree.
