Arctic Events creates events that bring new vitality to Ylläs, strengthen year-round tourism, and increase the region’s appeal among domestic and international audiences.

Our goal is to develop bold Arctic Lifestyle concepts that combine outdoor activities, nature, wellbeing, culture, community, and the unique spirit of the North. At the same time, we support local businesses, attract visitors during quieter seasons, and create reasons for guests to return to Ylläs year after year. 

YLLÄS TO HOST THE FIRST ARCTIC BIKE FESTIVAL from 27.–30.8.2026

The Festival brings a new cycling-focused event weekend to Ylläs, combining the magic of Lapland’s summer, gravel riding, and a welcoming community atmosphere. It is built around one simple idea: 

“An Adventure you’ll want to RIDE.” 

Participants will ride through Ylläs’ stunning fell landscapes, forest roads, and scenic gravel routes. The event is designed to be more than a cycling challenge—it is an opportunity to experience the northern light, breathtaking nature, and the joy of riding together. 

Arctic Bike Festival welcomes both experienced gravel riders and newcomers. Participants can choose between a 125 km gravel route and a more accessible 60 km route, suitable for a variety of bike types and experience levels.

Beyond cycling, The Festival offers live entertainment, partner experiences, guided rides, local food, music, and a vibrant festival atmosphere. The Event Village creates opportunities to connect, relax, and enjoy the unique spirit of Ylläs. 

The long-term vision is to establish Arctic Bike Festival as a key part of Ylläs’ summer event calendar and the first step in building a portfolio of distinctive Arctic Events that bring people together through adventure, nature, and unforgettable experiences.
