Cristian Oprea

Cristian Oprea is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in production planning and metallurgical engineering. Currently serving as Lead Engineer for Production Planning at Arctic since August 2019, Cristian has held various roles including Sr. Specialist Production Planning and Production Engineer, focusing on optimizing production plans to achieve defect-free targets. Prior experience includes positions at S.C. OTELINOX S.A. as Shift Coordinator and Process Innovation Engineer, where Cristian facilitated the installation of new technologies and provided operator training. Cristian began a career at Zirom SA as Deputy Chief of Forge Department, rapidly advancing from an entry-level position through a demonstrated ability to adapt and learn. Cristian holds a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and participated in an ERASMUS program in Materials Science at the University of Patras.
