Kent Whitney

Kent Whitney is a seasoned cybersecurity and information technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of R&D Infrastructure at Arctic Wolf since August 2023, Kent previously held the position of VP of Information Security & Infrastructure at HealthJoy, where efforts focused on compliance, risk management, and enhancing healthcare experiences. Kent’s past roles include Interim Chief Information Security Officer and Information Security Manager at Burlington Stores, Inc., where significant architecture development was contributed for a Fortune 500 company. As a Senior Consultant at Capsicum Group, Kent specialized in security assessments and cyber forensics. Moreover, Kent served in the United States Air Force as a Cyberspace Operations Officer, developing policies and leading teams in network warfare operations, and held a position at the National Security Agency. Educationally, Kent earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
