Dan Chen

Dan Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dan currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Arctoris, a technology-enabled biopharma platform company that accelerates small molecule discovery. Dan is responsible for overseeing financial operations and strategy.

Prior to Arctoris, Dan worked as the SVP of Business Development and Finance at Senseer Health Inc., where they developed Smart Medical Device Therapies for chronic conditions. Dan utilized their expertise in developing implantable microsensors and AI algorithms to improve patient care.

In addition to their roles in the biotech and healthcare sectors, Dan has experience in the investment and finance industry. Dan was an investor at Atomo Coffee, a sustainable coffee company that uses upcycled ingredients. Dan also served as a mentor at Mucker Capital, where they provided guidance to media and software entrepreneurs in Southern California.

Dan has held senior positions at leading investment banks, including CEC Capital and Siemer & Associates. At CEC Capital, they were the Managing Director and Head of the US Office and Technology, Media & Telecom Group. Dan led cross-border M&A and capital raising mandates for internet software and services, telecom, media, entertainment, healthcare, and life sciences sectors.

Furthermore, Dan has served on the board of the Asia Society and held the role of Managing Director at FPCG (Holding Company) and Montgomery & Co. In these positions, they gained experience in corporate development and executed M&A and capital raising mandates in the software, digital media, advertising, and internet services space.

Dan Chen completed their high school education at Gretchen Whitney High School from 1989 to 1994. Dan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Yale University from 1994 to 1999.
