Michela Serena

Michela Serena has a wealth of experience in research and science. Michela began their career in 2015 as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Università degli Studi di Verona. Michela then moved to the University of Oxford in 2016, where they held the role of Postdoctoral Research Scientist, with a focus on the study of the mechanisms which regulate cell division and the spatiotemporal regulation of Aurora B kinase. In 2021, they joined Arctoris as a Senior Scientist.

Michela Serena has a comprehensive educational background in molecular biology. Michela completed a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Università degli Studi di Padova between 2006 and 2009. Michela then went on to earn a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the same university between 2009 and 2011. During this time, they also completed an Erasmus fellowship at Universidad de Murcia in Molecular Biology from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they earned a PhD in Bioscience from Università degli Studi di Verona between 2012 and 2014.
