Ashley Butterfield, RLAT

Ashley Butterfield, RLAT has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ashley started their career at UC San Diego Extension as an English Language Assistant from August 2015 to September 2016. Ashley then worked at PetSmart as a Pet Care Professional from August 2015 to April 2017. In 2017, they joined Pfizer as a Laboratory Animal Technician and worked there until October 2021. During their time at Pfizer, they gained valuable experience in animal care and research. From January 2014 onwards, they became a Small Business Owner at Toyai design studio. Recently, they have been working in the IT field at Arcturus Therapeutics. Ashley started as an Information Technology Help Desk Technician from October 2021 to February 2022, then moved on to become an Information Technology Support Specialist from February 2022 to December 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Senior IT Support Specialist at Arcturus Therapeutics starting from December 2022.

Ashley Butterfield, RLAT, completed their education at San Diego Miramar College from 2017 to 2022, focusing on Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they obtained two certifications from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). In August 2018, they achieved the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT/RALAT) certification, and in July 2019, they obtained the Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) certification.
